Current Openings

Software Engineer (JavaScript) - Remote, AU

As a Software Engineer your role will be to develop and maintain JavaScript code. This will involve:

  • Building innovative new features using the SuiteScript 2.x API.

  • Helping maintain legislative compliance for each of our supported regions (AU, NZ and UK)

  • Updating the product to address NetSuite platform changes, and leverage new platform features

  • Working with other internal teams (QA, support, etc.) as needed to diagnose and identify issues for resolution

Who We are Looking For

  • A developer familiar with JavaScript predominantly for server side development
  • A developer who is driven and isn’t afraid to “have a stab”
  • A developer who is eager to learn and expand their skillset

  • A developer who understands and strives to deliver maintainable and readable code

  • A developer with good attention to detail, and a drive to question assumptions and findings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the SuiteScript API and/or ECMAScript 6
  • Experience with payroll (beyond receiving payslips)

  • Experience with NetSuite and its SuiteCloud platform

  • Experience with Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

  • Experience with the tools we use GitHub, WebStorm, etc.

  • Australian citizenship or PR
  • At least 4 years software software development experience, or a Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering (or equivalent) and 1 year experience.

Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript) - Remote, AU

As a Senior Software Engineer your role will be to architect, develop and review JavaScript code. This will involve:

  • Building innovative new features using the SuiteScript 2.x API.

  • Maintaining legislative compliance for each of our supported regions AU, NZ, UK

  • Updating the product to address NetSuite platform changes, and leverage new platform features

  • Developing the product and our tools to improve performance and efficiency

  • Working with other teams or customers to resolve technical issues

  • Helping to grow other (junior) engineers

  • An accomplished JavaScript developer familiar with EcmaScript 6 predominantly for server side development
  • A developer who delivers maintainable and readable code.

Pre Requisites

  • Australian citizenship or PR
  • At least 8 years software software development experience, or a Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering (or equivalent) and 4 years experience.

Project Manager / Implementation Consultant - Remote, AU

You will form part of the AU sales & implementation team, working both onsite and remotely to implement our software and move through the implementation process cycle from kick off to go live and post go live support.
As part of this dynamic team you will need to be a general all-rounder with key responsibilities of this position outlined below:

  • To implement, provide training & support on Infinet Cloud Software I.e. Payroll, Leave Management, MyPay (ESS – Employee Self Service), Journal Generator.
  • Provide technical assistance for issues escalated from support representatives
  • Customer engagement including demonstration & support to sales team
  • Provide quality assurance by testing and providing feedback on Infinet software
  • Attend and complete various training sessions or courses as prescribed by Management as per Company and personal goals
  • Provide assistance to Management
  • Identify, replicate and report bugs and issues for resolution
  • Assist business with testing and development of new functionality
  • Create/Update & maintain ICS Documentation & Online Knowledge Base
  • Monitor statutory and legislative changes from ATO, SRO’s and FWA and inform Management of relevant changes
  • Represent company at various events or trainings

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional drive and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, to make decisions and work on own initiative.
  • Able to regularly travel within Australia and although rarely NZ & UK if required.
  • Discipline to work from home when not travelling as Infinet does not have a physical office.
  • Be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • A natural curiosity and desire to understand how software works.
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills, especially MS Excel, along with MS Word, Google Apps and collaborative solutions such as Zoom, Slack, Confluence, Jira.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in order to effectively document support resolutions and understand Customer needs and the ability to simplify and explain complex processes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
